Player Profiles 2025-26

Jamie Decruz
Manager. Jamie started his managerial career at Sutton United where he was the U18s manager
before progressing to the U23s, and then gaining experience working with the first team. In
2021, Jamie took the reins at Colliers Wood United. He gave the club their highest finish in 20
years. In the summer of 2023, he joined Kingstonian as their assistant manager, before
accepting the Merstham job at the end of September. His first game in charge will live long in
the memory. 3-0 down at half time at home to Beckenham, the Moatsiders roared back to win
4-3. He guided the side to a fifth place finish last term and a place in the play-offs. A hugely
popular figure at the Moatside.

Rob Tolfrey
Goalkeeper. Keeper Rob is a genuine Isthmian League legend. In the 23/24 season, Rob made
his 650th appearance for the K’s and he was already the clubs record appearance holder. He
made thirty-three of those appearances that season, and still had time to play a match on loan
at Raynes Park Vale. He previously played for Horsham, way back in the mists of time, but
signed for the K's in November 2009 and the rest is history. Rob joined us at the start of the
2024/25 season and has been a calming influence on a young side.

Sam Allen
Goalkeeper. Sam has been a very dependable back up to Rob Tolfrey and made several league
and cup appearances last season, including one at Broadbridge Heath, where he replaced an
injured Tolfrey with 20 minutes remaining in a win pivotal to our play-off push. A well-liked
member of the squad, happy to watch and learn.

Ollie Khinda
Defender. Ollie originally joined us on loan from Sutton United and quickly displayed his
versatility by playing both as a holding midfielder and right back at various times during the
campaign. The loan move was made permanent. In his first full season for us, he was voted
Players Player of the Year and last season added Young Player of the Year to his set.

Matt Drage
Defender. Matt joined us at the tail end of the 23/24 season from K’s having made 38
appearances for them. He made his debut for the Moatsiders in an away win at Hythe Town and
has quickly established himself as a favourite. Last season, he became club captain and was
voted Players Player of the Year. In addition to being a commanding presence at the back, Matt
also chipped in with a number of goals last term, including several important direct free kicks
near the end of the season. Earlier in his career he was a big part of the Dulwich Hamlet squad,
making an incredible fifty-four appearances as they reached the Premier Division Play Off Final
in 2015/16.

Harry Pointing
Defender. A commanding central defender, with great potential. One of the modern breed of
centre backs, very comfortable with the ball at his feet. Harry was dual registered with Walton &
Hersham last season, but made the move back to the Moatside permanent after Christmas.

Ange Djadja
Defender. Ange is a strong centre-back who joined the Moatsiders from Fisher FC, bringing
defensive solidity and leadership to the back line. Since his arrival, he’s quickly become an
influential figure in the squad, earning Player of the Month honours for his contributions to a
run of wins and clean sheets in his early months with the club.

Luke Ashburn
Defender. Luke is a young defender on dual registration from Sutton United who adds energy
and versatility to Merstham’s back line. A left-back developed through the academies at
Charlton Athletic and Millwall, he joined Sutton United in June 2025 and has featured with their
youth/academy sides while gaining valuable senior experience with Merstham under the dualregistration
arrangement, combining defensive solidity with pace and comfort on the ball.

Jude Malloy
Defender. Last season was interrupted by injuries, but at his best, Jude is defensively sound, and
also gets up and down the left flank to offer an attacking option with his buccaneering runs. The
ex-Walton & Hersham and Leatherhead defender joined us from South Park.

Paris Hamilton-Downes
Midfield. Before Paris joining us in the summer, the Robins legend clocked up more than 300
appearances for Carshalton, including 35 last season and chipped in with a couple of goals. Paris
had been at Colston Avenue since 2011, having started in the academy, before graduating to
become club skipper and one of the first names on the team sheet, season after season. Jamie
was delighted to bring in such an experienced leader on the field.

Charlie Greenwood
Midfield. A fans’ favourite, Charlie’s campaign last season was blighted by a series of injuries
and he was sorely missed by the team during the closing months of the season. Charlie first
joined Merstham at the start of the 21/22 season from Sevenoaks and impressed, despite the
club being relegated from the Isthmian Premier. Charlie decided to move to East Grinstead,
before signing for K’s. Everyone at the Moatside was delighted to see the return of the midfield
maestro. A high-energy, all-action midfielder who regularly contributes goals and assists.

Olly Allen
Midfield. Olly has established himself as an energetic and creative presence in the centre of the
pitch. A technically gifted player with good vision and tidy ball control, Allen is comfortable
driving play forward and linking midfield to attack. After developing through the non-league
system, including time associated with Dorking Wanderers, Burgess Hill Town and Raynes Park
Vale.

Lee Lewis
Midfield. Lee joined us in January 2023 from Erith & Belvedere and quickly established himself
as a key figure in midfield. With his driving runs and thunderous long-range strikes, it’s easy to
see why he earned the nickname “Rocketman.” After being named Managers’ Player of the
Season, Lee moved to Welling United, but made a welcome return to the Moatsiders in August.

Ryan Healy
Midfield. A hard-working defensive midfielder, Ryan rejoined us at the end of February 2025,
having first appeared for the Moatsiders during the 20/21 campaign. He was captain at South
Park Reigate, and made twenty nine appearances and scored four goals. He quickly established
himself in the Merstham side as we made it to the play offs and scored one of the goals of the
season against East Grinstead. He was a mainstay of the Carshalton Athletic side which won the
South Division in 2018, and also spent time with Westfield.

Billy Oram
Midfield. One of Jamie Decruz’s first signings, Billy moved to the Moatside from Isthmian South-
Central side Badshot Lea. He quickly established himself as an integral part of the midfield and a
fans’ favourite. An attacking midfielder who has the vision and ability to pick a pass. His first
season at the Moatside was disrupted by a knee injury, which ruled him out for a couple of
months. In and out of the side last season and had a short loan spell at Fleet Town. Renowned
for his pre-game meal!

Olu Lawal
Forward. Olu joined Merstham from St Albans City City where he came through their Academy
programme. Olu Lawal made 9 appearances for the Saints that season before being loaned out
to Berkhamsted FC on a dual registration agreement. The wide man joined us at the start of last
season. He has blistering pace and an eye for goal.

Emmanuel Robe
Forward. Emmanuel is a French-born forward who returned to Merstham FC this season,
bringing pace, direct running and attacking flair to the squad. He has previous non-league
experience in England, including spells at Chipstead and Dulwich Hamlet, and has also played
abroad earlier in his career. Alongside the traditional game, Robe has featured in Baller League
UK, where his quick feet and one-v-one ability have been on show in the six-a-side format,
adding another dimension to his attacking profile.

Korrey Henry
Forward. Korrey became a fans’ favourite when Frank Wilson signed him for the Moatsiders. He
formed a prolific partnership with John Ufuah and the two were banging in goals for fun before
Carshalton came calling and signed the striker. He started his career in West Ham United’s U18’s
and also has had spells at Yeovil, Poole, Braintree, Bromley & Dulwich Hamlet. Last season,
Korrey had a slow start to the campaign, but after Christmas he was on fire and finished with 24
goals. Moatsiders fans are hoping for more of the same this term.

Finlay Johnson
Forward. A forward who came through the youth system at Stevenage, and has also had a loan
spell at Biggleswade Town. He was regularly part of the Stevenage first team squad prior to his
departure from the club. He joined Kingstonian on loan, but played only once. He then played
loan football with South Park Reigate, making fifteen appearances and scoring eight goals,
before being snapped up by Cardiff City. He returned to the Sparks in the summer, and four
goals from sixteen appearances before signing for the Moatsiders in November.

Louie Theophanous
Forward. Louie is a seasoned forward who joined the Moatsiders in January 2026, bringing a
wealth of non-league experience and a strong goalscoring pedigree. At 34 years old, he has
turned out as a striker for clubs including Kingstonian, where he notched a prolific goal return,
and has also represented sides such as St Albans City and Billericay Town earlier in his career,
combining physical presence with sharp finishing in a long non-league career.

Abdulahi Abdulazeez
Forward. Abs is a young forward who has become an exciting attacking option for the
Moatsiders, showing his eye for goal with key strikes in league action, including a goal to earn a
point against Sheppey United in the Isthmian League South East Division. Still in the early stages
of his career, Abdulazeez combines his club football with appearances in Baller League UK,
where he has stood out with goals and creative play in the six-a-side competition, underlining
his potential and direct attacking threat up front.
